Aeon and 10 of Disks, Wealth
A few months ago we got the Aeon card. This message has returned to us on our journey of healing and self-love. With the Venus energy in the air and Valentine’s Day on the horizon, this is the perfect time to do this type of work.
The Aeon card is also referred to as Judgement, Atonement, or Resurrection. The card shows the goddess Nuit, a primal sky goddess. Her arched body over our heads represents immortality. A transparent child figure stands inside the arch and a ruler figure is behind him. Both figures represent the Egyptian god Horus, first as child and then as leader. Horus is the deity of redemption because he killed the god that murdered his father.
This card represents the ever present child and adult energy we all carry. It also points to the need for healing the inner child inside. This healing is so important in order to be in our healthy adult state. We must love, forgive, and stand up for our inner youth to feel connected and powerful now.
In order to believe we are deserving of our dreams we must heal old wounds. So this week take some time to ask yourself: what hurt you when you were young? How can you confront, grieve and mend those wounds? How can you love yourself in the ways that you always needed?
This work will be challenging and maybe a little painful, but I promise you it will be worth it. This will lead to your best life. This will lead to your inner wealth.
This is not something that can be done in a week. But this process can start now, maybe through journaling, maybe through counseling or maybe through conversations with your family.
The 10 of Disks, or Wealth, wants us to know how strong we are and how many resources we have. It is a card about connecting with the richness of our lives.
Our family, friends, bodies, and homes make us rich. The plants, animals, art, music, and intelligence of our planet makes our cup run over. It is not about material wealth but seeing how valuable even a sunrise can be if we let it.
As Valentine’s Day approaches, many might have a tendency to focus on what we are lacking in our lives and relationships.
But the 10 of Disks asks us not to focus on what we do not have or what we long for, but instead to think about all we do have that makes us rich. Think of the things that truly matter and the things that make you feel blessed.
This will help you know how strong you are as you move forward on your self-love journey. You have a powerful reserve of resources that will support you when you go through difficult times or deal with painful experiences.
When you connect to your strengths and the strengths of those who love you, you train your mind to focus on what is strong instead of what is weak. You can see yourself as the beautiful warrior that you are, the hero in your story.
I truly believe you can do anything and you are deserving of all the love in the world. You just have to believe it yourself.
Allow self-love to wash over you and send areas of your life that you struggle with tenderness and light.
Mantra for the week: As I heal my inner child and connect to my inner resources, I believe I am deserving of a life full of love and happiness.
