I was stuck in traffic. I was also in a bad mood. And of course, as the freeway was merely inching forward, the Universe stuck me behind a car with the number plate 666.
Yep, through the whole 45 minutes being stuck in traffic on the 405 freeway, I had to stare at the number plate 666. This made me more frustrated because I knew that the Universe was trying to bring my attention to something and I really wasn’t in the mood….(yes, I have days like this too).
When I finally got home I started Googling 666, I knew it was supposedly the number of evil, but I have always felt that there is no coincidence that evil is live spelt backwards. Perhaps in its truest form, evil is simply when we fail to live and thrive in the world.
666 has a bad reputation, but what I found through my research is that it is not so much a bad omen, but instead it symbolises a time of being stuck, a time where perhaps you are failing to truly and honestly live.
This number usually appears in your life when you are stuck in an endless loop of repeating the same mistakes and doing the same things over and over again.
Essentially, 666 is a sign that you are not learning, growing and moving on from your lessons and instead you are remaining stuck and stagnant in your ways.
This number is a sign that you are also so stuck in your own ego-mind that you are failing to notice the beauty and wonder of life around you.
If you see 666, it is usually a sign that you need to get a fresh or new perspective in order to break free of any unhealthy patterns.
So, where does that leave the spiritual significance of 6/6/16?
6616 is not quite 666, however it still could indicate a time for us to become aware if we have become caught up in a repetitive cycle.
Do we keep repeating the same “mistakes”? Do we keep complaining about something and failing to make a change? Do we keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting things to be different?
6/6/16 is really about assessing where we are at and if we have become caught up in a cycle that is holding us back from truly living our lives.
