The Libra Full Moon arrives on April 1st, ushering us into one of the most high-energy months of the year. April brings zero planets in retrograde and a strong push of fiery energy, making it one of the most pivotal months for setting intentions, planting seeds, and taking action.
The Full Moon arriving at the start of such a month seems like a sign from the Universe to bring our attention to what we need to release so we can move forward. What is holding us back? What is keeping us small and in a place of scarcity?
Using the releasing and balancing energies of the Full Moon will help us to make the most of the fiery energy that is on offer.
If you want to really activate the Full Moon energies in your life, here is a ritual to guide you. While there are plenty of opportunities for manifestation all through the month, this ritual focuses on cleansing, releasing, and balancing the body. This is so we can be in a better state to receive and work with all the strong, fiery energy that is on offer.
I have also decided to include a prayer for world peace in this ritual, to harness the energies that the Libra Full Moon offers.

Libra Full Moon Ritual for Balancing, Releasing, & World Peace
You will need:
- Aura Cleansing tool of choice
- Pen and paper
- Bowl of water
- Meditation Cushion/mat
Instructions:
1.) Start by cleansing your auric field using your cleansing tool of choice. As you cleanse your aura, recite the following affirmation –
“My aura is cleansed; my light shines bright. May any and all that is heavy leave my heart space tonight. My heart is light. My heart is pure. My heart is aligned with my authentic self. My physical body radiates health; my emotional body radiates joy; my spirit body radiates peace. Thank you.”
2.) Get nice and comfortable on your meditation cushion or mat. Keep your bowl of water, pen, and paper close by. Close your eyes and place your left hand on your heart. Take 10 deep breaths here, trying to clear your mind on each breath. If invasive thoughts creep in and you lose track, start again till you can complete 10 breaths.
3.) Now get your pen and paper and begin writing down 3 things that are holding you back, 3 things that are keeping you in a state of insecurity, and 3 things that are making you play small. Challenge yourself to come up with as many things as you can. You can keep it brief or write paragraphs.
4.) When you are done, reflect on anything that has come up for you. Close your eyes and place your hand on your papers. Ask the Universe for guidance in clearing these blockages for you.
5.) Take another piece of paper and now write down 3 things that you are proud of, 3 ways your confidence shines, and 3 things you want to achieve by the end of the year. Fold the paper up and place it in your bowl of water.
6.) Hold the bowl of water with two hands and send out a prayer of love and peace to yourself, to your loved ones, and to the world. Create a little prayer of peace for those who are struggling. Leave the bowl of water out under the moonlight or by a window.
Example prayer:
“I send a prayer of love and peace to myself, to my loved ones, to my neighborhood, to my city, my country, and the whole of planet earth. I ask for ease and peace to be infused into the hearts of those who are suffering. I ask for peace to wash over Mother Earth and all of her creations. I send a prayer of healing to all those who need it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”
8.) In the morning, discard the papers and use the moon water to wash your hands, or if you prefer, place the moon water in the garden or house plant.
