The Princess of Disks and Death

This week, we enter Taurua Season, and the grounded energy is a welcome relief from all the fiery intensity of Aries. Our cards show us how to tap into this moment and harness its power.

Our first card, the Princess of Disks, thrives in the outdoors and encourages us to connect with the natural world. She invites us to spend time in nature for both healing and enhancing our intuition.

The Princess of Disks is a planner. She is hardworking, responsible, and takes care of business. She doesn’t want the spotlight but makes sure everything goes smoothly behind the scenes.

The Princess of Disks is here to support us during this time. While we may feel the urge to spring into action, the Princess encourages us to consider the logistics and details.

What work do we need to begin? What are our initial steps? The fresh energy this week motivates us to enter planning mode. We can approach projects and to-do lists with greater ease and enthusiasm. We keep things progressing as we focus on the bigger picture ahead.

The Princess inspires us to pause and invest time in planning our path to success. Recognizing the importance of saying no to distractions allows us to concentrate on our greater ambitions. Moreover, spending time in nature empowers us, revitalizes our energy, and inspires our creativity.

Our next card this week is Death. We should not be afraid. Death represents not an ending, but a beginning; it serves as a perfect guide for transitioning to a new astrological sign.

Death is about letting go of the baggage we carry that makes our journey more difficult. With this card, we let go of the past and begin anew with a lighter load.

Death brings about a powerful transformation. For some, this change can feel disruptive, while for others, it can be refreshing.

Many of us are afraid of change and anything new. We are fearful because we crave permanence and consistency. We want to hold on to whatever we have, even if it’s time to let it go.

But in Tarot, Death is full of beauty and is a deeply powerful card. When it shows up, we are ready to say goodbye to things causing us pain. We are prepared to have a profound metamorphosis.

With Death, we ask ourselves: What needs to be transformed? What must we let go of to thrive? What must die so we can live more fully?

By connecting with our inner voice, we will hear what needs to be released. Whether it is a toxic person, a stagnant job, or a habit we’ve outgrown, we are ready to let go.

With Death, there is always some pain. We must acknowledge that there will be grief in letting go, even if we release something that no longer serves us.

When you connect with what needs to be transformed, honor this by doing a releasing ceremony or ritual. Write what you want to let go of on a piece of paper, then give the paper its own transformation.

This could include ripping it up and letting it burn, burying it in the earth, or simply saying the words on the page out loud. Whatever you choose, this ceremony will help honor the process of death.

Our cards encourage strength while helping us let go of what no longer serves us. We are invited to embrace our powerful spirit and release behaviors that do not align with our hearts.

Mantra for the week: I release what can no longer be carried, embracing the transformative healing power of nature.
