Knight of Wands and Queen of Wands
I wanted to share a quote with you by Alfred D’Souza that connects to the cards for the week:
For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin- real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.
Often we feel as if we need to get through things, we need to suffer in some way. We feel we are not yet deserving of the life we want.
The Knight of Wands and the Queen of Wands are so full of life and energy. They are clear on their values, passions and priorities. They do not wait until things are perfect and all obstacles are gone. They are here to tell us that we can live life now.
The Knight of Wands is full of warm enthusiasm. He is often known as the “Lord of Lightening” and can bring new energy to stagnate situations. He is excited and ready to go.
There will be unexpected shifts this week that lead you to new paths. Places were you have felt blocked will open up. You will take on a more positive perspective under the influence of the Knight of Wands.
This card asks us to open our minds to and see things differently. This card also shows us that asking for help should be a priority, especially if we have felt stuck on our own.
We will get out of our own way with the support of the Knight of Wands. He knows there is no time like the present and we already have everything we need to be successful, if we only believe it.
The Queen of Wands is determined, driven and full of grit. She knows what she wants and goes after it. She is full of inner strength and knows her own power.
Her body is adorned with the beauties of the earth. She lovingly gazes down at a black cat, her guardian that protects her from harm and connects her to the natural world.
She is in our corner this week, helping us feel bold and courageous. Her generous spirit will fill us up and we will feel inspired to engage with life in a deeper way.
She asks us: How do we make our life small? Where do our fears get in the way? What have we been putting off?
Once we answer these questions, we will see what we truly care about but are afraid to go after. We may still be fearful or unsure, but we cannot wait for life to begin.
This week we are called to act anyway. Even if we are scared, even if we are not ready, we are called to act. The Knight and Queen of Wands will be propping us up and cheering us on. They will fill us with infectious motivation.
In the past we may of used Mercury in Retrograde, which happens on March 5th, as a way to put things off or continue the story that we can’t get things done. But his week, we will still push through and accomplish great things.
The New Moon on the 6th will also support our motivated vibrations. Use this time to set big intentions for yourself. This is a moment to work on goals and push through fears.
We are ready to make our lives so much bigger. I can’t wait to see all that you do!
Mantra for the week: I am driven by my values and passions. I am filled with motivation. I do not let fear stop me from growing my life.
