Judgment and The Fool
This week, we enter the sign of Gemini and journey through this sign until June 21st. Gemini speaks to both our spiritual and physical nature, we are drawn to connect to what is here on Earth while also contemplating what is out there in the stars.
This shift in energy impacts our vibrations, and the cards are here to share their wisdom and guidance. They help us navigate this time and give us the medicine we need.
Both the cards this week are Major Arcanas, which means the volume of their meaning is turned up and we are in a moment of heightened power. We are called to pay attention to their message.
Judgment is the 20th and penultimate card in the Major Arcana. This is a card about being called to change for the better. It points to a significant shift in awareness of ourselves and our place in the world.
When the Judgment card appears, it indicates that we can no longer see ourselves as separate individuals. We now see our connection to everyone and everything around us.
The suffering of others is connected to our suffering. The happiness of others is connected to our happiness. When we open our minds and hearts to our interconnectedness, we are living in our true potential as humans.
The card shows an angel presenting us with a crossroads. As people, we have an opportunity to bring more love and care to the world or to turn away and just focus on our individual needs.
The ‘judgment’ of this card is not about judging others but about ourselves. We are in need of some tough love in order to push ourselves forward.
The Judgment card invites us to reflect and contemplate our behaviors and mindset. Some questions that might prompt your thinking are: Are there actions we can take today to raise our vibrations? How can we be more loving towards ourselves and others? What does our personal best look like and how can we get there?
Take time this week to ask these questions. Try holding a growth mindset when it comes to your evolution. We are stretching ourselves and our perspective so that we can be more loving and conscious beings on this planet. This is not easy work but is full of meaning, connection, and joy.
Our next card is the Fool, a card connected to the youthful energy in all of us. The Fool highlights a child’s fantastical imagination, the creative mind, and our adventurous spirit. The Fool gives us the much-needed energy to take on the work of the Judgement card.
It is the first card in the Major Arcana and it brings the energy of a new soul that is not familiar with the trials and tribulations of life. It is all about taking risks and lightening our emotional baggage. If the Fool had a mantra it would be: Leap and the net will appear.
Each of us can tap into this place when we give it the room it needs to be explored. We can invite in the Fool when we listen to the wisdom of Judgment and make some necessary shifts.
The vibrations of this card push us to move through our fears in order to step into the present. The Fool calls us to focus on areas of our lives where we want to take chances.
Starting new relationships, business ventures, or projects are all connected to The Fool. This card is most activated when fresh paths are being taken. It is the perfect card to guide us as we take on the social and communicative energy of Gemini Season.
So ask yourself: What adventure do you want to embark on? Is there a project you want to start? Do you want to open your heart to new people? Do you want to open your heart to yourself?
This Fool can bring up fear. Many of us have become too familiar with pain, heartbreak, and failure and these things make us afraid of leaping. But the Fool has faith in the goodness of our being and asks us to lovingly take down our walls.
Mantra for the week: We are deeply connected to all people. We fearlessly open our hearts to love.
