The Capricorn Full Moon on July 3, 2023, reminds us that we can indeed do hard things and come out the other side, wiser, stronger, and better equipped than before.
While the July Full Moon may stir some challenges and guide us to confront some of the things that are no longer working in our lives, if we rise up and take responsibility for our situation, we may just find ourselves pleasantly rewarded.
There are rewards on offer here under the July Full Moon, plus the energies of the Sirius Gateway, which peaks just one day after this Full Moon, will help to magnify our energy and strengthen any ritual work.
Here is a grounding and supporting ritual to guide you under these energies –
Capricorn Full Moon Ritual 2023
This ritual is best done from June 27-July 11, 2023
You will need:
- Aura cleansing tool of choice (eg. dried herb sticks, essential oil sprays, incense, etc.)
- Hot water
- Large teacup or bowl
- Pen and paper
- 2-4 different herbs to make an infused cleansing water (loose leaf herbal tea also works well)
- So Hum Cosmic Meditation
- Capricorn Full Moon Reading
Directions:
1.) Start by cleansing your aura and surroundings. As always, start with your aura first and then move to your surroundings. For specific instructions, read this. As you cleanse your aura, recite the following-
“I cleanse myself from top to toe, bringing light to everything that must go. I honor the struggles I have faced, but know I can tackle them with a greater grace. I welcome wisdom, I welcome the work. I allow myself to be rewarded, I know my worth.“
As you cleanse your space, recite the following if you wish-
“I cleanse my space with light and loving energy. I attune this space to the highest vibration. May all that walk through this space feel calm, peaceful, and loved. My space is cleansed, my space is protected.”
2.) Let your intuition guide you to select the herbs you wish to work with. You can use dried or fresh- just make it easy for yourself and feel free to use whatever you have in the kitchen. Lay your herbs out in front of you.
3.) As you heat your water, pick up one of the herbs you are using. Holding it in your hands, study it, or close your eyes and “feel” into it. Think about what properties or healing the herb is going to offer you. There is no right or wrong, just use your intuition to guide you.
For example, you may pick up a sprig of basil. As you hold it in your hands you feel that it is going to help you find lightness and sense of humor. Or you pick up a bud of lavender, and you feel it is going to help you have psychic dreams. There is no right or wrong, it is whatever your intuition is telling you that you need to follow and listen to.
Once you have identified the healing property, use your pen and paper to write it down so you can come back to it later.
4.) Pour the hot water into the bowl or cup that you are using. Holding your hands around the side of the bowl, repeat the following-
“I am strong and confident in myself. I have been through so much, and yet here I still stand. I am so grateful for my life and the opportunities that have been sent my way. I can handle everything and the right solutions are always presenting themselves to me. I now charge up this water with cleansing light and love. This water will help me to find my strength and feel gratitude for every day.”
5.) Now taking your first herb, add it to the water while stating its healing property out loud. For example- “I add rosemary for……” and so on, until all your herbs are used.
6.) Once all your herbs are in the water, gently swirl the water with your finger. If the water is too hot you can use a spoon. Recite the following or feel free to write your own-
“I am light. I am love. I am strong. I am confident. I ask my guardian angels to surround me with a healing white light. I ask that this loving healing energy moves through my body into this water. I ask for this water to cleanse away all my burdens, and replenish my soul. My heart is strong. My mind is clear. My heart is strong. My mind is clear.”
Take 3-5 deep breaths here and really allow your words to sink in. Feel free to recite them a few more times if you wish.
7.) Take a dap of water on your finger, and gently brush it over your third eye, heart center, or wherever else you feel you need it. Now begin your So Hum Cosmic Guided Meditation.
8.) After your meditation, leave your water out overnight to charge under the Full Moon. If you can, place the water outside under the moonlight or inside by a window. Next, do your Capricorn Full Moon Reading.
9.) In the morning, take your water and gently wash your hands or body with it. As you do, recite the following mantra or write your own-
“I feel so grateful and excited for the wonderful opportunities that await for me. I know my strength and I know there is nothing I cannot accomplish. I can do anything.”
10.) Discard the herbs in the garden or compost or feel free to rinse them off and use them again if they are still useable.
Happy Full Moon!
