Nikki’s Weekly Reading: April 14-20, 2025

Weekly Tarot

The cards pictured are from the Crowley Thoth Tarot Deck.

Five of Wands and Two of Wands

The Five of Wands helps us understand how to create change in our lives. It encourages us to listen to our inner voice, including our feelings of negativity or resentment. We are called to explore what irritates, discomforts, or angers us.

This card asks us to focus on what tests our patience, particularly in our relationships. It encourages us to question these issues and consider alternative approaches.

Can we choose to spend more time with people who uplift us? Can we prioritize tasks that are meaningful to us? Is this the right environment for us? Is it possible to make some changes?

Through the Five of Wands, we slow down and investigate our world. We examine the things we do throughout our day and the feelings they evoke. We step out of autopilot and explore opportunities.

Through this awareness, we find we have the agency to create a better experience for ourselves. We are not just stuck with the way things are. We can create what our lives look like.

Maybe we need to establish more boundaries regarding what we share with others. To prevent conflict, we should spend more time listening and less time debating. Or perhaps we should delegate and say no to things we don’t want to do.

Embracing the energy of the Five of Wands, we approach each day with kindness and implement even the smallest changes to nurture our joy. We will experience an intentional shift as we navigate the days ahead.

Our next card is the Two of Wands. This card prompts you to consider: What place makes you feel the most energized? Where do you feel confident and in charge? What are your happy places?

The Two of Wands wants you to contemplate these questions. It wants you to tap into what fills you up and makes you feel purposeful and passionate. Wherever you feel the fire, you should direct your energy.

The Two of Wands is all about using the places where you feel the strongest and most confident to give you information about your true purpose. You can also use these places to gain strength and confidence in other areas.

If you know you can be courageous in some areas of your life, why can’t you harness that courage in other areas? You are funny, creative, and fearless at times, but you need to grow this energy in the spaces where you are less confident.

Maybe you need to be brave about something you have been putting off, vulnerable with those you love, or share your talents with a larger audience to connect to your greater purpose.

Wherever you need more power and direction, call upon the fiery energy already inside you. Use that fire inside to navigate your path forward.

Mantra or the week: I embrace love and compassion for myself as I step into my true purpose.
