Nikki’s Weekly Tarot: July 11-17, 2022

Weekly Tarot

The cards pictured are from the Crowley Thoth Tarot Deck.

Princess of Cups and The Priestess

This week we have a Capricorn Super Full Moon on July 13 and the cards help us to navigate the vibrations. The time is ripe for releasing and stepping into new energy if we embrace the moment.

Our first card is the Princess of Cups. She is soaking in the water and is surrounded by a dolphin, sea turtle, lotus blossom, and swan. These creatures are highly intuitive and creative. They are our totems as we dive deep into these energies.

We are craving a more nurturing and creative time with ourselves. We feel protective of our own peace and want to nourish this energy in any way possible.

If there is a location or activity where we feel calm and relaxed, we will feel especially drawn there. We will look for ways to incorporate peaceful practices into our routines as much as possible.

In a restorative place, we will be able to think clearly about what we wish for the most. We will envision a future that reflects what is in our hearts and we will emerge with clarity on how to move forward.

The Princess of Cups is a dreamer. She thinks deeply about what she wants for herself and the world. She doesn’t restrict her heart and envisions the life she desires.

She represents the earthy part of water, where dreams become real. She supports you with action steps and concrete plans. She wants you to move from fantasizing about what you want to making it a reality.

Physical movement, creative practices, or any peaceful activity will feel right for us this week. We profoundly crave these things and we should honor this desire.

The cards are sending us an amplified message this week our next card, The Priestess. She draws upon the meaning of the Princess of Cups but makes it even stronger. We also received this card last week so they really want us to pay attention.

As I shared previously, The Priestess encourages us to tap into our intuition and spiritual abilities. Similar to the Princess of Cups, this will help us to see through the fog and find answers.

She wants us to use our gifts to draw out the light that surrounds the dark. She asks us to call upon our angels, ancestors, and messengers, as they are always supporting us. Meditating under the Full Moon would be a perfect time to do this.

If you create moments of stillness, the energy of the Priestess will be able to enter your world. She will give you insights into the path forward and she send you messages you need to receive.

To channel this energy, spend time in reflection, however that looks for you. Take out a journal and write in stream-of-consciousness, tap into your creativity through something artistic, set intentions before you go to bed and record your dreams.

Through the cards, we are called to nurture ourselves so we can feel more grounded in our lives. Our world may feel chaotic and heavy, but the more we center within ourselves the easier we can make our way through.

We let go of the need to carry the turbulent energy that sounds us. Instead, we take care of our physical and spiritual needs so we can be in a calm and loving place.

Mantra for the week: I prioritize peace and ground myself daily. Under the energy of the Full Moon, I call forward my spiritual and creative sides.
