10 of Cups and Adjustment
We entered Virgo Season this week and I can already feel my desire to organize and eat vegetables. Virgo is all about living well, wholeness, healing, and balance.
As we approach the Equinox, we know the end of the year is growing closer. We might feel an urgency to get things done.
Virgo lends us her brilliant work ethic and her determination to complete what we start. The cards also lend their beautiful wisdom.
Adjustment is a Major Arcana card, it is the eighth card on the Fool’s Journey. It is a significant place on our path. It tells us that like Virgo, we are longing for balance and healing.
Adjustment features the lady of justice. Her eyes are covered with a blindfold and she is holding scales to represent the balance between good and evil, and right and wrong within our lives.
Lady Justice is the supreme Judge. She is connected to the idea of Karma, that everything we do today has either a positive or negative effect upon our future.
She wants us all to live well and treat each other well. She wants our actions to be just and good. She will give back to us what we put out, so she calls us to put out positivity.
Under the influence of this card, we reflect and adjust our personal behaviors. We evaluate where in our life we have stagnant energy, where we are not growing, and where we are not healthy.
Take time to look at your habits and routines. Are you doing things that are not in line with where you want to go?
If your circumstances or behaviors are not what you want, you can make a change. You can create more harmony in your life. You have control of your actions and can be more intentional.
You will feel empowered this week to make adjustments to your routines. You will invest more in your health, wealth, and peace. You will feel ownership over your actions instead of blaming others.
Adjustment calls for personal accountability and intentionality. If you work with this card you will feel much more balanced entering your world. You will see how your positive actions bring positive results.
The 10 of Cups is also referred to as Satiety. This card points to a deep contentment and satisfaction.
It is a 10, which in Tarot is the pinnacle and end of a cycle. It means we have worked hard to achieve a sense of satiety, and the fruits of our labor have arrived.
This card points to a stronger and more stable feeling than that of happiness, which is often wavering. It is connected to a deep satisfaction that comes from hard work and personal commitment to our values.
It is the feeling we get when we honor the direction of the Adjustment card and align our actions with our heart and well being. This deep contentment is waiting for us when we invest in our health and the health of the planet.
The work is not easy but the rewards are vast. The cards summon us to this path of justice.
Mantra for the week: I call in healing, wellness, and balance. My hard work and positivity bring in satisfaction and bliss.
