The Heirophant and Four of Disks
As we step into a brand new month this week, we are presented with two powerful cards that beautifully symbolize our journey of growth and inner strength. This moment is ripe with opportunity, inviting us to fully embrace our potential as we elevate ourselves to new heights.
Our first card this week is The Hierophant. When this card appears, we often need guidance. We are ready to move to the next level, but we are unsure of the direction to take or how to get there.
The card encourages us to seek a spiritual practice or a teacher to help us reach a higher vibrational level. Spend some time this week with the words of wise leaders, writers, and mentors to learn from their wisdom.
Many brilliant people have come before us who have discovered peaceful ways of living. We do not have to reinvent the wheel or go through it alone. They have found answers to life’s many questions, and we can gain from their experiences.
Tarot remains my tool for support and guidance. I have turned to it over and over again when I need to connect with my spirit and get out of my head. Reading the beautiful interpretations of other Tarot readers always inspires me as well. Tarot is my constant Hierophant.
I think about all the powerful women who came before me as mothers. They have undergone the transformation that motherhood brings and have changed fundamentally as a result. I draw on their strength and wisdom as I navigate this journey myself.
Be open to teachers in all forms. It could be in a book, a song, or a figure of wisdom. You may already know this person, but their spirit will have a profound impact on you this week. The Hierophant calls us to receive guidance from our mentors, ancestors, and angels.
Keep your eyes open for specific signs that will guide you in the right direction. Be ready to take in all that is around you. The call of The Hierophant is being amplified, and the universe is speaking to you.
Our second card, the Four of Disks, is about creating and sustaining a solid and positive foundation. It asks us to take stock of what gives us stability and builds us up. And to create boundaries with anything that brings us down.
Our strength with this card comes from our deep connection to ourselves, our community, and the planet. It wants us to know we are bigger than just ourselves, and the universe supports us deeply.
The card portrays a fortress that gives both security and power. The structure may not be tall, but it is strong. The symbols on each of the four pillars are the elements: earth, air, fire, and water.
The Four of Disks makes me think of our homes and creating a sanctuary within the places we live. This card has a strong attachment to home, family, and ancestry.
This card invites us to create a safe and calming space in which we live. It calls us to organize, clean, and beautify our surroundings. Our home is the place that nourishes and energizes us before we go out into the world. It deserves our love and attention.
Through the Four of Disks, we can see how far we have come and all the people and places that love and support us. We connect with our spiritual practice and journey to our higher self. We notice everything we do daily to prioritize our mental and physical health. We feel strong.
Mantra for the week: I call on strength from my ancestors, angels, and higher self. I am rooted in my power.
