Nikki’s Weekly Tarot Reading: June 19-25, 2023

Weekly Tarot

The cards pictured are from the Crowley Thoth Tarot Deck.

Four of Disks and Knight of Wands

This week brings the Solstice on June 21. The Solstice is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, where we celebrate the light, and the shortest day of the year in the Southern Hemisphere, where we honor the darkness. The June Solstice also signals the start of Cancer Season.

Our cards are full of grounded vibrancy and call us to tap into the potent energy of the cosmos. If there is something you need to get done, now is your time. The cards will guide us on how to unlock the potential of the moment.

Our first card this week was also one of our cards for last week. When a card repeats, the universe really wants us to hear its message. We need to listen extra carefully to the wisdom it shares.

The Four of Disks is all about creating and sustaining a solid and positive foundation. It asks us to take stock of what gives us strength and builds us up. And it wants us to create boundaries with anything that brings us down.

Our strength with this card comes from our greater connection to ourselves, our community, and the planet. It wants us to know we are bigger than just ourselves and the universe supports us deeply.

The card portrays a fortress that gives both security and power. The structure may not be tall but it is strong. The symbols on each of the four pillars are the elements: earth, air, fire, and water.

The Four of Disks often makes me think of our homes and creating a sanctuary within the places we live. This is very much in line with Cancer as they have a strong attachment to home, family, and ancestry.

The Four of Disks calls us to create a safe and calming space in our homes. It calls us to time to organize, clean, and beautify. Our home is the place that will nourish and energize us before we go out into the world. It deserves our love and attention.

Through the Four of Disks can we take stock of how far we have come and all the people and places that love and support us. We can connect with our spiritual practice and our journey to our higher self. We notice all the things we do each day to prioritize our mental and physical health. We feel strong.

Our second card this week is the Knight of Wands. This card is all about vision, leadership, and fire. It is energetic, enthusiastic, and aware. Under the influence of this card, our insights are heightened.

This Knight is full of warm enthusiasm. He is excited and ready to go. He is often known as the ‘Lord of Lightening’ and can bring new energy to stagnate situations.

There will be unexpected shifts this week that lead you to new paths. Places, where you have felt blocked, will open up. You will take on a more positive perspective under the influence of the Knight of Wands.

This is the card of getting things done in a respectful and efficient way. It’s about getting what we want, through both thoughtfulness and passion.

We take on a more positive perspective under the influence of the Knight of Wands. There are unexpected shifts in energy under this card. Blockages are swept out of our path, allowing us to move forward in our chosen direction.

Use this gentle strength to propel yourself forward. A grounded but confident approach will make doors open that were once closed. You will be able to connect in ways that make others feel safe and allow you to move forward with grace.

Through this card, we open our minds and see things differently. We also see that asking for help should be a priority, especially if we have felt stuck on our own.

We will get out of our own way with the support of the Knight of Wands. He knows there is no time like the present and we already have everything we need to be successful if we only believe it.

This will be a week of making big changes and using this energy to our advantage. Make sure you don’t sleep on these vibrations, it is our moment to make things happen.

Mantra for the week: I am grounded in my foundation. From this place, I reach for the sky.
