The Universe and Ten of Cups
This week, we will experience a Blood Moon Eclipse on March 3. This is the last of three Blood Moon eclipses and signifies an ending and a sense of completion, paving the way for a new chapter to begin. The cards reflect this energy and guide us in making the most of this powerful time.
Our first card this week is The Universe. This card points to all our hard work and investment in our evolution. This card wants us to feel proud and honor our growth instead of focusing on what we need to do next. There is always more to accomplish, but now is a time to celebrate.
The figure in the center of the card is dancing naked with a snake, surrounded by all four elements. She is in a place of celebration, mastery, and letting go of fear. She has gone through all the ups and downs of the Fool’s Journey and is in her power.
Celebrating ourselves is not easy for some of us, but it is so important to acknowledge our growth. If this feels out of your comfort zone, this card will help you work on this skill.
To invite the spirit of The Universe card into your world, offer her the gift of walking, hiking, or dancing. Being in your body instead of your head is a great way to uplift this energy.
Spend time honoring yourself this week and celebrating your journey thus far. Do something that makes you feel good and indulge in an activity that nourishes you. This will help you recharge for what’s next on your path.
The Universe card helps us acknowledge our hard work instead of thinking about what to do next. The work will always be there, but this week, we deserve congratulations.
Under the card’s influence, reflect on your journey and send yourself loving affirmations. Acknowledge your achievements and the strength within you. Planting seeds of kindness before embarking on a new path will lead to a road filled with vibrant wildflowers.
Our next card is the Ten of Cups. This card signifies contentment and satisfaction. Our desire for more has been satisfied, and we feel perfectly full.
Satiety is a stronger and more stable feeling than that of happiness. The Ten of Cups is associated with a sense of groundedness derived from hard work and a commitment to our values.
This sense of contentment is attainable when we dedicate ourselves to nurturing the well-being of our spiritual core, the resilient part of us that remains unwavering. Satisfaction emerges when we align our actions with our authentic selves.
The feeling of wanting ‘more’ is constantly tempting us. What is the next goal, the next thing to buy, the next place to go, or the next thing we need? We are constantly bombarded with what we should desire next.
The energy of the Ten of Cups encourages us to recognize temptations but take a step back before acting. We resist the urge to act on impulse; we avoid purchasing items we don’t need, are not driven by the fear of missing out, and refrain from setting a new goal immediately after achieving one.
We feel like we can move through the world with a deeper sense of contentment. Things come toward us, and we can say yes or no with ease. We are satisfied with the present moment and our present selves.
This is a feeling you can work towards each day by tapping into what is good and lovely in the moment. Through awareness and mindfulness, we come to realize how much we already possess. We don’t feel the tug for more; we are perfectly satisfied.
What can you do to embody the energy of the Ten of Cups this week? How can you connect with your spiritual center? How can you embrace the feeling of satisfaction?
Mantra for the week: I celebrate how far I have come. I have everything I need, and I am whole.
