The High Priestess and Three of Disks
Our first card this week is the High Priestess. She comes second in the Major Arcana cards, also known as the Fool’s Journey. And though the journey has just started, she is already calling us to stop and pause because she knows the importance of rest and reflection.
The Priestess gives us clues on how to care for ourselves during this time. We are encouraged to tap into our intuition and spiritual abilities to see through the fog and find the answers we need.
She asks us to call upon our angels, ancestors, and messengers, as they are always supporting us. She wants us to use our gifts to draw out the light surrounding the dark.
If you create moments of stillness, the energy of the Priestess will be able to enter your world. She will give you insights into the wisdom of your future. She will send you messages of peace.
To channel this energy, spend time in meditation or reflection. Take out a journal and write in stream-of-consciousness, tap into your creativity through something artistic, move your body intuitively, set intentions before you sleep, and record your dreams.
Allow the High Priestess to support you this week. She reminds us of the importance of disconnecting from the world around us and connecting to our spirit. From that space, we can access so much intelligence, power, and healing.
With the High Priestess, we are looking within, and with the Three of Disks, we are looking toward the future. We are thinking about what we want to manifest and what we can make happen.
The Three of Disks is all about concentrated and deliberate effort. It is about focus and the ability to work hard for what we want. It gives us the power to be aware of our desires and not swerve from our path.
Currently, we may be feeling scattered and pulled in different directions. But this week we will narrow in on what we want. We will let go of those voices that leave us feeling doubtful and confused.
Inspiration will be our friend as we start to create a clearer picture of what the future will look like. This card usually indicates a high level of professional ambition. So use this time to focus on your career and make concrete goals for the rest of 2023.
If your career is an area that holds insecurity for you, use the energy of the Three of Disk to push through that this week. You will need to work on those feelings in order to manifest the abundance that is waiting for you.
This card also points to the support of our community to get the work done. So don’t be afraid to lean on others or ask for a hand to get things accomplished. People want to help! And we are always more powerful when we work together.
