The Magician and Five of Cups
We welcome two new cards this week to guide us through the days ahead. Last week’s eclipse left me a little emotionally drained and vulnerable, but it also allowed me to grasp important lessons and move further along my journey. This week’s cards will help us understand how to continue working with this energy.
Let’s first discuss the Five of Cups. This card often comes up during times of emotional sensitivity. The five empty cups on the card represent feelings of depletion.
The disappointment reflected in this card can take many forms: disappointment with ourselves, others, or the world itself. Maybe we are disappointed with certain people in our lives. Perhaps we had expectations, and things did not turn out how we wanted. Maybe we feel overwhelmed by all the suffering in the world.
The Five of Cups asks you to feel your feelings. It’s okay to feel disappointed; it is part of the human experience. Let yourself cry, write down your thoughts, and grieve.
Many of us try to stay positive and not let heavier emotions creep in. But by keeping them at bay, we are making our load heavier. This week, it is time for a release.
Permit yourself to feel sad. You don’t need to sugarcoat what is happening for you or the world. You can feel sadness and be okay at the same time.
Grieving and letting go will make room for new things to enter our world. When we work to feel our emotions, we create space for the universe to send us fresh energy.
Next, let’s discuss The Magician, which reminds us of our creativity, talents and the different paths we can take. We contemplate our skills and strengths and determine our desires.
This energy influences us to go deeper into something more fulfilling. Perhaps we should invest in higher education, tackle a new project, or dive into something we have always wanted to do.
The Magician holds their wand up to the sky, inviting divine power. They are channeling their magic to show us the way. They are here to help us bring our projects to fruition.
The work of the Magician is to receive guidance from the heavens and manifest them here on earth. Look out for how the Universe is guiding us. Signs and clues are leading us to where we need to go.
Keep your eyes clear, your ears sharp, and your heart open. The vibrations are extra potent this week, so now is the time to move forward on what we desire the most.
Allow the Magacian’s energy to enter your world and the inspiration to take hold. Through the cards, we will end the week in a more grounded and inspired place that will fill us with purpose.
