We learn to love ourselves so we can love others. We learn to better ourselves so we can shine like an example for others.

When we are full and abundant, it gives us the energy to pour into others and to support and guide others on their own journey.

The Aquarius Solar Eclipse carries a loving and positive energy that is going to fill us up and allow us to awaken to the fact that we are all connected and we all need each other to thrive.

When we team up together there is nothing we can’t achieve and the energy surrounding this Solar Eclipse is heavily focused on the relationships and the connections we have with others.

This is the perfect time to think about the connections you have and the type of people that you choose to surround yourself with.

Romantic relationships are also going to be a theme at this Eclipse. You may deepen your connection to someone, or you may discover that the relationship has gone as deep as it can and you both need to move on in order to keep growing.

While Aquarius is an air sign, it is represented as the water bearer. Water signifies emotions, and it’s the water bearer that carries the emotions of the world and is able to release them.

In this ritual, the focus is going to be on your loved ones and the relationships in your life. Using the Solar Eclipse energy, you are going to get to send healing light to those that you love or those that you feel need some extra support.

By sending those you love healing light, you are also able to send it to yourself as well.

Here’s how it works-

Aquarius Solar Eclipse Ritual for Sending Healing

This ritual is best done from February 15-24th, 2018

You will need:

  • Candle
  • Meditation Cushion/Comfy chair
  • Pen/Paper

Directions:

1.) As always, start by saging your surroundings and cleansing your aura. Here are specific instructions on how to do this if you need. As you smudge your surroundings, repeat the following mantra or write your own-

“I cleanse my space with light and loving energy. I cleanse my body with light and loving energy. Only that which is for my highest good may surround me. Only that which is for my highest good may enter.”

2.) Light your candle and sit comfortably on your meditation cushion or on a chair. If you are sitting on a chair, try to have your feet touching the ground. Begin by closing your eyes and taking seven deep, relaxing breaths.

3.) Once your settled, keep breathing and visualize a beautiful white light surrounding you. See it as a bubble of protection.

4.) Next, visualize someone you want to send healing light to. It can be anyone you desire including those that have passed, animals etc.  See them in front of you, then take a deep breath and on your exhale, imagine placing a white light around them so they have their own bubble of protection. Keep breathing though this until you feel that their white light bubble is strong enough. As you breathe into their bubble, know that your bubble also becomes stronger too.

5.) Now keep repeating this process for other people in your life. You can choose as many people as you like. Once you have finished with individuals in your life, you can then turn to all people that live on your street. Repeat the process for this visualizing your entire street being surrounded in the white light.

6.) Now focus on your entire neighbourhood. Visualize your entire neighbourhood receiving the white light. Now do the the same for your city, your state, your country and finally, all of Mother Earth.

7.) Once you have sent healing light to Mother Earth, visualize yourself one last time in your white light bubble. See how strong it is and quietly thank yourself and the Universe.

8.) Next, take your pen and paper and write down a wish that you have for the world. You can think about a big issue like poverty, war etc. Or you can keep it focused on your local community or even family. Try to make the wish about something that’s important to you but also involves other people. In other words, don’t make it a personal goal, rather try to think about the wider community around you.

Here are some examples- “I wish for equal pay for all women” or “I wish my parents can stop fighting and find peace” or “I wish all the dogs in our local pound to find families.”

9.) Once you have your wish, fold it up and keep it in a safe place. Snuff out the candle.

Happy Solar Eclipse!
