How to Create Your Own Power Morning Ritual

The morning is a powerful time of day. It is during the first moments of waking that your mind is shifting from the subconscious stages of sleep into the more conscious state of reality.

During this transition, your mind and heart are open, alive and just waiting to soak up the energy of the new day.

The wisdom of your soul is also more readily accessible and your creativity, problem solving skills and motivation are at their highest.

This is why it is commonly believed that how you spend the first 30 minutes after waking will determine the energy that you move through the rest of the day with.

When you start the day with a power ritual it can help you to –

  • Maintain your energetic vibration
  • Feel more positive
  • Feel more aligned with your purpose
  • Feel motivated and inspired to create and get things done
  • Tune into your intuition
  • Be more productive

There are really no rules when it comes to creating the perfect morning ritual however, here are some suggestions to get you started.

Power Morning Ritual Ingredients

Pick at least 3 of the following below to create your own ritual. Feel free to mix and match and shake things up as and when needed.

 Gratitude

Take a moment to express gratitude for the day ahead. Feel thankful and appreciative of all the amazing opportunities that the day holds for you. You may also want to give thanks for your amazing body, the comfortable bed you got to sleep in and the beautiful dreams that you had last night.

Forgive and Release

Forgive and release yesterday. It is so important to view each day with fresh eyes and a fresh mind. Release and forgive any negative events or feelings. Remind yourself that all is ok, and that today is going to be a new day.

Visualisation

If there is an important event scheduled or something you are feeling nervous about, perhaps visualise in your mind the outcome that you desire and trust that you will be protected and supported by the Universe. You can even call on your spirit guides to be with you during this event.

Aura Restoration Shower

As you shower, imagine the water washing away yesterday and the soap, cleansing and forgiving any harsh energy that may still be present. As the soap is rinsed off, imagine your body being cleansed in a beautiful, white light.

Meditation/Creativity

Meditating in the morning has numerous benefits, but so does deep breathing, journalling and artwork. Spend time focusing on these activities for at least 10 minutes every morning. This small time out of your day will help to get your creative juices flowing and will help to raise your vibration.

Nourish

Starting the day with a nutritious meal is very important. Aim to eat as healthy as possible at breakfast time, as this helps to kick start your metabolism and can fuel your body for the rest of the day. Some good options include green tea, oatmeal, organic cereal/granola and green smoothies.

Affirmations

Find a power affirmation or mantra that will support and guide you throughout the day. Recite it to yourself while you are getting ready for the day ahead. Here are some great affirmations that you can use which will help align you with your soul. Alternatively, a great, no-fail mantra is always “I love myself”.

Exercise

Exercise is a great way to get your energy moving and flowing for the day ahead. If getting up for a morning jog or yoga is not your style, simply do some light stretches and get the energy moving and flowing around your body. You could even put on some music and dance your way through the morning.

Use these ingredients to create your own ritual, just try to avoid involving technology, emails or social media in your morning ritual. As much I would love you all to wake up and read Forever Conscious every morning, I think you would experience far more benefits by spending time with just YOU (then please read my blog… ♥).
