As May 2019 comes to a close, my little sister would have been gone from this planet for two years, and while she is rebirthing herself in the afterlife, I feel I too am doing the same here on Earth.
My sister and I were extremely close and the loss of her has left a gaping hole in my heart that I struggle to make peace with every single moment of every single day.
But I don’t want to “move on”, I don’t want her memories to just be in my past, I want them to be in my future too, and part of my healing process has been learning how to continue my relationship with her even while she is not here in the physical.
Whether I celebrate her memory, talk to her while making breakfast or write letters to her, I long to keep my connection with her alive and growing till the day I leave this world.
For those of you who have experienced immense grief, you too will know that there is no desire to “move on” but rather, a desire to take your loved one and bring them with you as you continue to walk your Earthly journey.
Part of how I have been connecting with my sister is through my writing and if you are a regular reader here, you will know that a lot of my writing on this blog is intuitively channeled.
So, in this article, I have channeled the wisdom of my little sister to bring you 5 little letters of light from our hearts to yours-
1.) Do not wait to live your best life.
One of the most wasteful things you can do with your time on Earth is to wait around or put off what you truly want to do.
Life is short, so much shorter than you think. When the day comes where you take your last breath, your life is going to feel like it passed in just a blink of an eye. So, stop waiting. Stop putting things off. Stop saving things for a later date.
This doesn’t mean you need to be reckless, but rather you need to get your priorities in order and ensure that you are not waiting around to live the life that you desire. When you make a decision to do something, just go and do it!
If you find yourself feeling bored more often than not, this too is a clear sign that you are putting too much “waiting” into your life. You are never going to feel 100 percent ready so just jump in and go for it as much as possible.
2.) Everyone is just you.
You may think you are different from the person sitting in front of you or to your family and friends, but really we are all the same.
On Earth, it is really hard to wrap your head around this, but essentially, we are all each other. It’s like we are all one big soul that broke off into many bodies.
While in these respective bodies we can make different choices and think different thoughts but underneath it all, we are all the same, and all the people that come into your life are revealing to you different fragments and pieces of yourself.
It is so important to pay attention to the people around us, for this is our clue on what part of ourselves is trying to rise up to the surface either for acknowledgment and ownership or for cleansing and releasing.
3.) Everyone should travel.
Travel is the most liberating, eye-opening experience you can give yourself. While it may not be economically feasible for everyone to travel often, if you ever get the opportunity make sure you take it!
Traveling opens your horizons, expands your mindset, and feeds your soul. It allows you to get out of your comfort zone and to see the world. Travel also allows you to see that no matter where you go or what country you visit, we are all so much more alike than we realize.
Travel should be a priority for everyone at least at one point in their lives. Travel as far as you can and to even the most remote corners of the Earth, for there you will find a beauty that will guide you for the rest of your days.
4.) Don’t Shy Away from Falling in Love.
We are built to love, but here on Earth, it is a scary thing to “fall” in love with someone.
Falling in love is about surrendering to the process of love, and allowing yourself to completely trust and open to another human being. We are so afraid of “falling” because we don’t want to lose control or get hurt.
Many of us keep our hearts wrapped up tightly, but you should never regret falling in love. You should never regret opening your heart and bringing more love into the world.
Don’t ever regret an act of love, even if it doesn’t turn out the way you had planned. This is not just in our romantic relationships but with our friends and family too.
Don’t be afraid to express love, don’t be afraid to allow yourself to fall into love and to surround yourself with it. It will be the thing you remember the most during your final days.
5.) Play to your Frequency.
We all come into this life with our own rhythm and melody, this is our tune and our song. We are all really just frequencies, and each of us, even though we are part of the collective, carries our own very unique pitch.
When we look down at Earth from other realms, it is sad to see so many people trying to change their pitch to be like someone else. It is sad to see so many shy away from expressing their song.
We are all unique. We all have our own frequency and trying to hide it, dim it, or change it is going to lead to feeling lost and in despair. It is such a pointless exercise to compare your frequency to someone else as they are never going to be the same. Even identical twins have their slight differences, and that’s the same with your own frequency.
When we all live up to the truth of our frequency, when we all get in alignment with our tune, Earth plays the most gorgeous song that reverberates out into the Universe for all to hear. This is what peace on Earth looks like, and it comes from each of us playing our own frequency, and living up to who we are.
This is not about being anything other than yourself, but all too often we compare, we judge, and we try to measure up against others and this takes us further from our own truth.
You don’t need to do anything to align with your own frequency other than to stay true to yourself at all times.
