Chakras are the energy centers of our body. Each chakra has its own energetic purpose, and each one plays an important role in our health and well-being.
The purpose of the Sacral Chakra is to enable us to express our emotions and use our creative talents to manifest beautiful works of art.
Since the element of the Sacral Chakra is water, it guides us to go with the flow and not to struggle against the currents of life.
When our Sacral Chakra is balanced, we feel enthusiastic and inspired. We have healthy self-confidence and ambition towards fulfilling our dreams and goals. We are full of energy and highly motivated to get things done.
Working with crystals is a great way to balance the Sacral Chakra. Since the color orange is associated with the Sacral Chakra, all the orange crystals are especially beneficial for this chakra.

Orange Calcite

Sometimes the Sacral Chakra is blocked due to emotional trauma and/or sexual abuse. Our sexuality is closely connected to this chakra, so if we have suffered from trauma, issues around our sexuality, or a toxic relationship, there is a chance that our Sacral Chakra could have become blocked or imbalanced.
Working with Amber helps to soothe our wounds, release shame, and nourish those parts of ourselves that we might not find lovable. Amber reminds us that even though we have suffered, and even though our wounds are still there, we can still allow ourselves to experience joy.
Amber is actually not a crystal; it originates from ancient trees that grew on Earth thousands of years ago. It has stored all this ancient wisdom and powerful energy, which is now readily available to guide us on our own path of healing.
Our Sacral Chakra can also become blocked when we grasp too tightly to certain outcomes in life and when we are always trying to be in control. A healthy Sacral Chakra enables us to take a leap of faith from time to time, and dive into unknown waters.

Carnelian
Carnelian crystal acts as a magnet to help us draw in exciting new opportunities, positive people, abundance, and success on every level. It is a crystal of vitality, prosperity, and life force energy.

A simple meditation practice for balancing the Sacral Chakra:
Hold one of the Sacral Chakra crystals in your hands.
Sit comfortably in a quiet space. Breathe deeply in and out seven times and keep your focus on your breath.
Close your eyes and visualize a bright orange light radiating from the crystal and entering the area below your navel, where your Sacral Chakra is located. Feel this area glowing warmly and let yourself be taken over by a sense of bliss and lightness.
Now repeat this powerful mantra that I have channeled for you as many times as you like:
Creative inspiration flows freely through me as I allow myself to feel pleasure and joy.
Open your eyes and slowly bring your awareness back to the outer world.
