Seven of Swords and Queen of Swords
Our first card this week is the Seven of Swords. This card speaks to stuck energy that needs to be released. It suggests that we may have been avoiding or concealing something that requires our attention. This card says now is the time to confront what has been troubling us.
This could be a secret dream we need to speak into reality. It could be a bad habit we must deal with to feel more whole. Or it could be a lie we tell ourselves that no longer works.
The Seven of Swords has us questioning our belief systems and investigating our thoughts. We notice our patterns and wonder if there is a better way.
We observe the contents of our minds. We look at our habits as objectively as possible and support our growth without judgment. Shame and guilt can keep us from where we want to be, so we lead our charge with compassion instead.
Set aside intentional time this week for serious contemplation and journaling. With love, see if you can get closer to yourself and release what no longer serves you.
Our next card is the Queen of Swords, and she amplifies the energy of the Seven of Swords. This card helps us find our authenticity and honesty. The Queen is a warrior who has won her battle with courage and shows us how to do the same.
The Queen has cut through the lies and removed the armor that prevented her from connecting deeply. She understands that vulnerability is a strength, and experience makes you stronger. She is hard to mess with because of all she has been through.
As a Swords card, thinking and communicating with clarity are key. The Queen uses her sharp tongue when necessary, but only when it’s warranted. And though she is tough, she has compassion for herself and others.
The Queen goes straight to the heart of matters and is direct with her approach. She speaks her truth so she can live in alignment with her values. She has removed the walls that kept her safe and now lets her true self be front and center.
The Queen can see through others’ disguises and knows things run deeper than what is on the surface. She knows what matters in life and lets everything else slide off her back.
The Queen of Swords is bringing us all her gifts this week. She wants us to use our intelligence and honesty to get closer to the life we want. She helps us speak our minds and pushes us to be vulnerable. She wants us to take off our armor and rest in our authenticity.
Keeping up appearances and pleasing the people around us takes a lot of work. The Queen gives us permission to let that go and just be ourselves. We don’t have to please anyone but ourselves, and by doing so, we will be more loving to those around us.
How can you use the Queen of Swords’ powerful energy this week? Who do you need to share your truth with? How can you be more direct and open in your interactions? How can you be more boldly authentic? How can you drop into your authenticity?
To step into our personal power and honesty, we channel the energy of the Seven of Swords and the Queen of Swords. We release our fear of vulnerability and speak our truth. We relax into ourselves and let it flow.
Mantra for the week: I release patterns and habits that no longer serve my whole self. And by speaking the truth, we truly set ourselves free.
