The Hermit and Ace of Cups
This week, we will experience a Virgo Blood Moon Eclipse on March 14, which will unleash powerful waves of energy that inspire growth and change. This is some of the most potent energy we can encounter cosmically, and we are encouraged to surrender to its guidance.
Our first card for the week is The Hermit, and it’s about creating the time and space to journey inside ourselves. The card shows us a figure turning inward as they shine a beautiful light on the path before them. Through intentional alone time, we can tune out the voices of others and hear our wisdom.
By quieting our minds, we can also receive divine messages. We will gain new insights and become closer to our truths. Hermit energy will support the clarity you need if you have been struggling with direction or a difficult decision.
The Hermit card speaks to personal spiritual journeys used by many cultures. The Aboriginals partake in Walkabouts, the First People have the ritual of Vision Quests, and many cultures use Labyrinth walking to seek knowledge.
How can you create your spiritual ritual to find answers? A relaxing bath, quiet meditation, some time to journal, or even a long walk alone will help set the right tone for doing the Hermit’s work.
If you find yourself needing a break from work or childcare to create some personal time, don’t hesitate to reach out to your loved ones. They can assist you in making this time possible. Prioritizing alone time and nurturing your connection with yourself will enhance your well-being and ultimately strengthen your contributions to your community.

The Ace of Cups often indicates the beginning of a new creative project, an important relationship, or even the conception of a child. It represents the path to something that will bring us great joy and fulfillment.
Since this Ace is in the suit of Cups, we will be in alignment with our emotions and feelings this week. We will feel a deep emotional connection to ourselves and others.
At a spiritual level, the Ace of Cups points to the Fool’s Journey. The cup depicted on the card is thought to represent the Holy Grail, or in Pagan terms, the Cauldron of Cerridwen. This cup or cauldron is a granter of wishes and a source of inspiration.
When we reach our Holy Grail, we have come to a place where we can enact our passions and dreams. We finally arrived at the place where our fantasies can really become our reality.
Ask yourself: What has been in the works that is ready to be out in the world? How can you rise to the next level of your evolution? How can you share your loving energy?
