Three of Disks and Princess of Cups
This week we have the powerful energy of the Lionsgate on August 8. This portal of high frequencies opens our spirit and the spirit of Mother Earth allowing for a rebirth. The cards show us how to channel this potent energy to serve our highest selves.
Our first card this week is the Three of Disks. This card is all about concentrated and deliberate effort. It is about focus and the ability to work hard for what we want. It allows us to be aware of our desires and not stray from our path.
Currently, we may be feeling scattered and pulled in different directions. But this week we will narrow in on what we want. We will let go of those voices that leave us feeling doubtful and confused.
Inspiration will be our friend as we start to create a clearer picture of what the future will look like. This card usually indicates a high level of professional ambition. So use this time to focus on your career and make concrete goals for the rest of 2023.
If your career is an area that holds insecurity for you, use the energy of the Three of Disk to push through that this week. You will need to work on those feelings to manifest the abundance waiting for you.
This card also points to the support of our community to get the work done. So don’t be afraid to lean on others or ask for a hand to get things accomplished. People want to help! And we are always more powerful when we work together.

Our second card this week is the Princess of Cups. She is soaking in the sea, surrounded by a dolphin, sea turtle, lotus blossom, and swan. These creatures are highly intuitive and creative. They are our totems as we dive deep into the waters.
We are craving a more nurturing and creative time with ourselves. We feel protective of our own peace and want to nourish this energy in any way possible.
If there is a location or activity where we feel calm and relaxed, we will feel drawn there this week. We will look for ways to incorporate peaceful practices into our routines as much as possible.
In a restorative place, we will be able to think clearly about what we wish for the most. We will envision a future that reflects what is in our hearts and we will emerge with clarity on how to move forward.
The Princess of Cups is a dreamer. She thinks deeply about what she wants for herself and the world. She doesn’t restrict her heart and envisions the life she desires.
She represents the earthy part of water, where dreams become real. She supports you with action steps and concrete plans. She wants you to move from fantasizing about your desires to experiencing them in reality.
Physical movement (especially in water), creative practices, or any peaceful activity will feel right for us this week. We profoundly crave these things and we should honor this desire.
