Nikki’S Weekly Tarot Reading: March 31-April 6, 2025

Weekly Tarot

The cards pictured are from the ‘Rosa Obscura’ deck by Orla Bird.

Wheel of Fortune and Six of Swords

As we enter a new month this week, we have an opportunity to observe the changing seasons in nature and within ourselves. Let’s embrace this transformative energy and use the cards as our guide.

Our first card is the Wheel of Fortune, and it shares the message of open possibilities. It wants us to know that our lives are full of potential and that we can go in any direction. If you have been feeling stuck or questioning how to move forward, this card is for you.

We have the gifts, talents, and abilities to live the life we truly desire; we just have to say yes. Doubt and fear limit us, and the Wheel wants to examine their role in our choices.

It calls us to align our being with our essential path and to open our hearts to this energy. Allow the Universe to guide us where we need to go.

When the Wheel of Fortune comes up, it’s a time of powerful vibrations and poignant signs. Look out for symbols and messages calling you to your most authentic self.

The Wheel of Fortune also points to the illusion of control. Humans want to be the sole creators of our destiny. We want power over the world around us and to make sense of it all through reason and rules.

But the Wheel calls us to connect to a more profound knowing. Nature shows us that we cannot control the world, but we can let it guide us. With this faith, we follow a path that leads us to tranquility. We connect to our instincts and intuition and are in flow with creation.

Step out of your thinking and into your heart. Do this by connecting with an animal that feels like your kindred spirit. Close your eyes and visualize that animal coming forward to you. Take in its presence and listen to whatever message it sends you.

Our next card is the Six of Swords. It depicts a passenger on a boat made of a flower traveling to a new land. They have just survived a battle and have decided to venture into uncharted territory.

Grief is present whenever we leave something familiar, but there is excitement for what will come next. So, while fear is quite common with the Six of Swords, there is also hope.

This card powerfully reminds us that “Change requires action.” Without taking steps to shake things up, we risk remaining in a frustrating state of stagnation. The Six of Swords shows us it’s time for a change, encouraging us to embrace the transformation ahead.

We are often forced to make tough decisions, which doesn’t always feel good. However, we will move to safer ground to rest and recharge. The sea will calm, and we will be able to see clearly.

Stepping away from chaos or drama allows us to reconnect with ourselves. When on stable ground, we can think logically and make decisions from a place of peace.

Like scientists, we can sort through evidence and make choices based on facts. The energy of this card allows us to zoom out and see without our personal biases being front and center.

In the past, we felt confused and stuck. Now, we have the ability to make choices that will bring us stability and joy. Focus on the areas where you’ve felt overwhelmed, and use the energy of the Six of Swords to help you navigate through the blockages.

Mantra for the week: I honor the relationship with myself when making decisions. I trust in the Universe to lead me to my path.
