This ritual will guide you to harness some of this grounding energy. It focuses on connecting with gratitude and bringing peace and soothing energies to your soul and surroundings. I hope you enjoy it!

Taurus New Moon Ritual May 2023

This ritual is best done May 16th-28th, 2023

You will need:

Directions:

1.) Start by cleansing your aura and space using your cleansing tool of choice. Always begin with your aura first and then move on to your space. As you cleanse your aura, be sure to stand with your feet flat on the ground. Then recite this affirmation as you move the cleansing tool around your body-

“I center my energies. I am grounded in my being. I am one with light and love; I am one with grace. Please clear and cleanse all that needs to go. Please clear and cleanse so I feel light, so I feel strong. I am a radiant channel of light. I am rooted, and still free to soar. Only love dwells within.”

As you cleanse your space, set your own intentions in your mind and quietly focus on them as you cleanse your surroundings.

2.) Light your candle and set up all your ritual ingredients as follows- Place a few drops of your chosen essential oil in the water. Gently mix it with your finger. Then place your flower in the bowl.

3.) Place your hands around the water bowl and breathe deeply for a moment here. Think of three things you feel grateful for right now. Really allow yourself to feel the emotion of each one. Observe any resistance you may have with allowing these feelings in.

4.) Now, think about a recent change or something confronting that is coming up for you. Just think about whatever is troubling you, or whatever is making you uneasy. (If you have multiple things, try and just choose one to begin with!) Sit with any emotions that are coming up for you around this situation.

5.) Now find 10 things you can be grateful for around this situation. You may have to really challenge yourself with this, but give it a try. Push yourself to do all 10. You don’t have to be grateful for the exact situation that unfolded, but you can be grateful for things around the situation, or things that happened because of the situation.

Example- “I am grateful for my challenging boss as it is helping me to grow and learn the value of standing up for myself.” Or “I am grateful for the time I spent with (ex-partner) as it taught me what I really need in my relationships moving forward.”

You can repeat this process for other situations or areas of your life also.

6.) Once you have come up with 10 things that you feel grateful for around this situation, notice what thoughts and feelings have arisen for you now. Notice if any solutions or new ways of looking at things have emerged. Notice and feel that all things in our life have a beauty as long as we open ourselves to it.

7.) With this feeling in mind, hold onto your bowl of water one last time. Really feel into all that you feel thankful for. Repeat quietly to yourself ten times- “Thank You.” (Make sure you are directing the thank you towards yourself.)

8.) Then, get nice and comfortable and begin your Surrender to Peace Guided Meditation. This meditation will help to bring your body, mind, and soul back to a state of ease.

9.) After your meditation is complete, take your bowl of water and pour it over your hands, allowing the gratitude-infused water to seep into your pores.

Your ritual is now complete. Happy Taurus New Moon!
