Four of Disks and Queen of Cups
This week the theme with the cards is boundaries and personal power. We will be reconnecting to our inner strength and learning how to sustain it through our boundaries. The Full Moon in Aquarius on the 22nd will help us heighten this energy by the end of the week.
The Four of Disks is a beautiful card full of optimism and potential. This card is also called Power and is all about creating a strong and positive foundation. It asks us to take stock of what gives us strength and is the antidote to stressful thinking.
Our strength through the Four of Disks comes from our greater connection to ourselves, our community, and the planet. It wants us to know we are bigger than just one person and the world supports us deeply.
The card portrays a solid fortress that gives both security and power. The symbols on each of the four pillars are the elements: earth, air, fire, and water.
We often have people in our lives that make us question our power. When this happens you can take a moment to think of all the things that make you strong.
You can think about how far you have come and all the people in your life that love and accept you. You can think of all the things you do each day that prioritize your mental health. You can think about your spiritual practices and your journey to your higher self.
No negative thought or comment can take away all the work you have put into building your foundation. It is still there and will not be knocked down by anxiety or negativity.
You are powerful, brave, and resilient. You have a base of positivity and love that you worked hard to cultivate. We all encounter people and situations that make us question that, but the Four of Disks is here to remind us of resiliency and strength.
The Queen of Cups is wrapped in the light of a Full Moon as she reflects on the water’s edge. The many lotus blossoms surrounding her represent peace and protection.
This Queen is the ultimate nurturing mama. She brings her watery and soothing energy to help us feel calm and restored.
She shows us how to use our strengths in order to heal and connect to our true selves. She is deeply aligned with the Full Moon and her Goddess energy is present for us all.
This Queen has a veil covering her face that speaks to her boundaries and intelligence. She only lets the most trustworthy people enter her inner sanctuary. Her wisdom and experience have made her selective with who she shares her time and heart.
The Queen asks: What boundaries do you need for protection and self-care? How can you be more selective with whom you share your vulnerable side? What can you do to nurture your spirit under the power of the Full Moon?
This week is calling for us to work on our personal power and do something special for ourselves. A Full Moon Ritual, nurturing our bodies, or setting up protective boundaries are all part of that work. Allow the power of the Full Moon to work through you and listen to the wisdom of the cards.
Mantra for the week: At my core, I am strong, powerful, and intelligent. Boundaries are a loving way to protect my energy and sustain my strength.
