The Pisces New Moon on February 27th opens the door to Eclipse Season and brings the final lunar cycle of the astrological new year. Potent energies circle as we move through this New Moon portal, and consequently, we may find ourselves feeling scattered or extra sensitive.

Pisces New Moon Ritual 2025
This ritual is best done between February 26th-March 8, 2025.
You will need:
- Aura cleansing tool of choice
- Bathtub or large bowl/jug of water
- Basil leaves (you can substitute with another herb of your choice)
- Rose petals (or use your favorite flower petals or essential oil)
- Bowl
- Piece of paper cut into small strips and pen
- Sea, Celtic, or Himalayan Salt
- Lotus Compassion Meditation
Directions:
1.) Start by cleansing your aura using your tool of choice. As you cleanse, feel free to recite the following affirmation:
“I breathe in cleansing; I breathe in light. I breathe out all I no longer need tonight. I am cleansed; I am restored. I am all I am and more.”
2.) Take your herbs and rose petals (if using) and place them into a bowl. Take your strips of paper, and on each, write down something you wish to call into your life or an intention for the New Moon. Add the papers to your bowl of herbs.
3.) When done, gently toss the papers into your basil and rose petals while reciting the following three times:
“I seal in my intentions using the healing power of these herbs and the healing vibrations of these flowers.”
4.) Start filling up your bath or jug of water and then carefully add your rose petals and herbs into the bath (minus the papers).
5.) Now, sprinkle a generous handful of salt into the bath, as you do this, recite the following:
“I seal in the energies of my intentions. As I soak in this bath, may I feel healed, supported, cleansed, and aligned with all that is for my highest good. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”
6.) Soak in the bath, or if using a jug, pour the mix over yourself in the shower. Feel free to soak in the tub for as long as you like.
7.) Once you get out of the tub or shower, change into some comfortable clothing. Take your bowl of intentions and put it next to you while you do your Lotus Compassion Meditation. If you like, you can lie down for this meditation. Don’t worry if you drift off to sleep, the work will still be done!
8.) The ritual is now complete. You can save your intentions to look over at another time, or you can discard them as a way of releasing your intentions to the Universe- go with your intuition. Discard the basil leaves and rose petals outside if possible.
