Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art and science which was developed over 3,000 years ago. It was designed to help balance energies or Chi within a space in order to promote harmony, good health and fortune. It’s principals are based on the Taoist understanding of nature.
These principals can be used to stimulate the flow of of love, money, luck and health. Here are 8 simple ways that you can align yourself to be in the best energetic position to attract money into your life.
.) Keep the Kitchen Clean: in Feng Shui your kitchen is directly related to your ability to attract money. The pantry and the refrigerator should be kept clean and organized with food that you actually used and your stove should be kept clean. Every burner on the stove should also be used equally. All clutter should be removed from counters and islands.
.) Decorate with Red, Purple or Green: Colors have the ability to impact our mood and also our energy. Red is a particularly auspicious color and represents power. Purple and green also hold the vibration of attracting prosperity. The color hues you choose to decorate with also need to match your personality and the tone you want to create.
.) The Front Door: the entrance to the front door needs to be easy to see and not confusing to get to. Basically the principal here is that you want to make it easy for money to flow to you, and this is represented by how easy and clear the entrance is to your home. The doorbell should also be in good working order and the welcome mat should be bright and fresh. The steps or path leading up to the door should be kept clean and a potted plant should be kept out front.
.) Install a Fountain or Have a Garden: Fountains represent wealth and help to stimulate prosperity and energy. Planting flowers and plants also promotes life and inspiration and helps to clear away negative energy.
.) Clear out Clutter: This is a big one when it comes to Feng Shui principals as space relates to opportunities. By removing the things in your home that you do not use, you invite new opportunities and prosperity into your vibration.
.) Water and Mirrors: In Feng Shui the state of the water in your home mirrors your finances. Dripping or leaking taps, stagnant water around the house or broken fountains are not conducive to prosperity. Water based art work or mirrors that are higher than your nose also not in line with prosperity. Similarly a mirror or water-based picture should never be hung above the bed.
.) The Home Office: A desk should never be facing the wall as this symbolizes limiting creative flow and potential. The amount of space in front of your desk symbolizes opportunities so arranging your chair so you have a view, or by placing chairs in front of your desk for visitors is recommended to help attract abundance.
.) Love your Home: If you don’t love coming home every day, or you are not happy with the layout or style of your home, find a way to make it work for you. You want to enjoy being in your space and enjoy coming home every day in order to align yourself with the vibration of prosperity and good fortune.
